Ulkopoditiikkaa podcast
The Finnish Institute of International Affairs publishes the podcast ’Ulkopoditiikkaa’, which discusses current international relations and explores topics that should be brought to the forefront of the Finnish foreign policy debate. The hosts are Senior Research Fellow Katariina Mustasilta, Research Fellow Joel Linnainmäki, and Communications Specialist Meeri Väätäinen. The podcast also features guest appearances by experts in the field.
You can listen to Ulkopoditiikkaa on Spotify and other major audio platforms, and episodes can also be watched on the FIIA Youtube channel. New episodes come out every other week on Thursdays. In between episodes, mini episodes will be released, providing short and sweet analysis on international affairs.
The podcast was launched as part of FIIA’s 65th anniversary programme in spring 2026. Through new initiatives, the Institute aims to encourage a more multifaceted discussion on international affairs in Finland.
