The University of Turku (Faculty of Social Sciences) has awarded the Title of Docent (Adjunct Professor) in East Asian Studies to FIIA’s Senior Research Fellow, DPhil Elina Sinkkonen. The docentship is in the field of East Asian Studies, especially East Asian Politics.
Dr. Elina Sinkkonen holds a DPhil in International Relations from the University of Oxford (UK), Department of Politics and International Relations (2014) and M.Soc.Sc from the University of Helsinki, Department of Politics and Economics (2008).
Elina Sinkkonen works as Senior Research Fellow at FIIA´s Global security research programme, in its Asia Research Cluster.
