Mika Aaltola has resigned from his position as Director of FIIA

Mika Aaltola was elected to become a Member of the European Parliament on the European Parliament election. Aaltola submitted a notice of resignation to the FIIA Board and his last working day at FIIA is July 15. He will be mainly on vacation until July 15.

The FIIA Board has decided that Deputy Director Mikael Mattlin will continue as Acting Director of FIIA until a new Director is elected.

Mika Aaltola was the director of FIIA for four and half years. FIIA’s personnel and the FIIA Board thank Aaltola for his valuable work as FIIA’s Director.
