The security of cyberspace is an integral part of today’s security, warfare and politics. Cyber attacks and other activities in cyberspace should not be separated into a self-contained area without the broader political, strategic, and geopolitical context. In this event we focus on strategic and topical questions of cybersecurity. What kind of capabilities are needed, what is the role of states as cyber security providers, how to maintain trust in the digital era and why are cybersecurity issues are very political? This event aims to find answers to the challenges of our digital societies, and to reflect in wider broader terms on how to succeed in today’s hybrid threat environment.
