Lecture series on the U.S. 2016 Presidential elections

12 February 2016
Finnish Political Science Association is organizing a series of expert lectures in order to get a head start to the upcoming 2016 U.S. presidential elections. The objective is not only to familiarize ourselves with the electoral campaigns and a number of salient issues in elections, but to gain a deeper understanding of U.S. politics and political system. The speakers are among key experts in various fields of North American studies, political science, foreign relations, and communication. The lectures are organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Social Science (University of Helsinki), Center on US Politics and Power at the Finnish Institute of International Affairs, the League of Finnish American Societies and U.S. Embassy Finland.

Senior Research Fellows at the Institute Anna Kronlund and Charly Salonius-Pasternak are both giving a lecture, and so is Programme Director Mika Aaltola.
