On 16-17 October 2008, FIIA hosted theThird Sino-Nordic Roundtable to discuss the bilateral relations between China and the Nordic/Baltic countries as well as the politics of climate change. The roundtable seminar consisted of panel sessions on the following topics:
1. Nordic-Baltic-Chinese Relations;
2. Towards Post-Kyoto World in Climate Policy;
– Climate Change and the Future Security Agenda
– Chinese Climate Concerns
– EU Climate Policy
3. Climate Concerns National Perspectives – Russia and the USA;
Participants consisted of the directors of the Nordic and the Baltic institutes of international studies and peace research institutes and a Chinese delegation from the Chinese Institute of International Studies.
