Maija Salonen

Maija Salonen is a Senior Specialist at the Center on Climate Politics and Security (CLIPS) at the Finnish Institute of International Affairs, and also working in the events team. During her career at FIIA, she has worked in various positions. She has also worked as an Advisor at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland in the Horn of Africa and Eastern Africa unit, as well as in Finnfund at the Finnpartnership programme. Salonen holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Turku, majoring in Geography.
