Dr Hanna Ojanen and M.Soc.Sc. Lauri Kaanela join FIIA

DR HANNA OJANEN AND M.SOC.SC. LAURI KAANELA JOIN FIIA

Dr Hanna Ojanen joined the European Union research programme of the Finnish Institute of International Affairs as a researcher on 7 November. Her research interests include relations between the EU, NATO and the UN, security and defence policy, defence integration in Europe and Turkey. She has previously worked as a Head of Research at Utrikespolitiska Institutet in Stockholm and as a Programme Director of the European Union research programme at FIIA.

M.Soc.Sc. Lauri Kaanela has been appointed the new Financial Manager of the Finnish Institute of International Affairs since 31 October. He has previously worked as a Financial Manager at the Emergency Services College in Kuopio.
