Tampere University published Research Fellow Matti Pesu’s doctoral thesis “Introducing Ideational Foreign Policy Analysis : Explorations on the Underlying Ideas of Finnish Foreign Policy”.
“This doctoral dissertation seeks to demonstrate how personal and collective ideas affect foreign policy. The five original publications making up the dissertation all investigate Finnish foreign policy from various ideational aspects. Although the publications deal with different periods of Finnish foreign affairs, the dissertation places particular emphasis on the end of the Cold War and early post-Cold War years” Pesu writes in the abstract.
