Senior Research Fellow Mikael Wigell’s peer-reviewed article contributing to the debate on hybrid threats has been published as lead article in the March issue of International Affairs. The article entitled “Hybrid interference as a wedge strategy: a theory of external interference in liberal democracy” makes a distinction between hybrid warfare and hybrid interference, and develops the new strategic concept of hybrid interference.
