The conference marks the 20th anniversary of Slovenia and will offer a good opportunity to
understand the developments in the Balkan region. The invited speakers will give an insightful
view on the results of political and economic transformation in the ex-Yugoslav Republics
that one by one reached independence during the last 20 years. The conference will bring
together experts from the region and the EU.
