Since the beginning of the year FIIA researchers have been following the global implications of the coronavirus and as a result the institute have managed to produce already multiple in-house publications. All of the institute’s research on Covid-19 is now easily available here.
FIIA publications on Covid-19 have also been recognized internationally. The latest EU Council Think Tank Review included publications by Director Mika Aaltola, Research Fellow Kristiina Silvan, Programme Director Arkady Moshes and by Senior Research Fellow Ryhor Nizhnikau.
As noted by Director Mika Aaltola in his statement on how FIIA functions in the time of Covid-19, the first longer research article on the political implications of the coronavirus came out in mid-March. Since then FIIA have been publishing numerous research comments on this crucial topic.
