The University of Lapland has awarded the Title of Docent in International Relations and Chinese Studies to FIIA’s Senior Research Fellow, PhD Jyrki Kallio. The docentship is in the field of the Social Sciences.
Jyrki Kallio holds degrees of MPolSc (1992) and LicPhil (2009) from the University of Helsinki, and PhD (2016) from the University of Lapland. Previously Kallio has worked as diplomat in the Finnish Foreign Ministry (1995–2013). Currently Jyrki Kallio is on leave of absence.
