Senior Research Fellow Elina Sinkkonen’s chapter titled The role of the Taiwan question in Chinese national identity construction was published in a book on the relationship between Taiwan and China. The book Taiwan: Manipulation of Ideology and Struggle for Identity edited by Chris Shei is a collection of essays each of which deals with how Taiwanese identity is framed in Taiwan and the international context. The book is published by Routledge, and it is a part of the book series Routledge Studies in Chinese Discourse Analysis.
