The Centre for European Studies at the University of Helsinki hosts a European Studies Day on 11 May 2026. The event brings together researchers of Europe and the EU from various academic disciplines to present recent research in the field.

The Finnish Institute of International Affairs will organise two panels as part of the event. The first panel will examine how different policy sectors function as tools of geopolitics. The second panel will discuss how successful the EU is in responding to the era of power politics.

The event will take place at the Language Centre of the University of Helsinki (Fabianinkatu 26).
